Male fertility Check-up

We always hear about women being told to “get checked out” prior to trying to fall pregnant. Well it takes “2 to tango” and male factor infertility can be a reason why in up to 50% of couples they are unable to conceive.

At MHM we believe that men should also have a “fertility check-up” prior to trying to conceive with their partners. This check-up will involve a comprehensive history, examination and specialised testing of male fertility hormones and a semen test at a specialised laboratory.

The consultation will also involve detailed advice about how to optimise male fertility including which (if any) supplements that may be worthwhile.

Some specialised tests, such as a semen analysis, will incur an extra cost as they are performed by an external laboratory.
